For example, for a sweet, wholesome hard candy, you can combine a few easy ingredients like fruit juice, sugar, water and corn syrup on the stovetop. Just search online for your favorite recipe, and dust the finished product with confectioner’s sugar before serving at your Halloween party!
Another appetizing idea is sweet-and-salty clusters, perfect for satisfying two snack cravings in one bite. Mix together melted chocolate, chocolate candies and pretzel pieces and place messy clumps on a baking sheet to cool. You can also add any other mix-ins you may want, such as raisins or nuts, and share the finished product with friends. It’s a simple treat that is sure to please on Halloween and all year long.
